Korea - List of Joseon Tournament Winners
The first
official match in Korea was played on Jun 10, 1905, between Hwangseong YMSA and
Korea Sports Club. An "All Pyongyang Village Football Championship"
was first held in 1937 ([Lee 16]).
The All Joseon Football Championship was held in
Seoul on 21 occasions prior to World War II, usually as part of a multi-sports
event, and with various age categories, and open to (school) teams from all of
Korea.
