Zone 3 (North Africa) - Representatives: FC Nouadhibou (Mauritania), Club Africain (Tunisia), Al-Olympique (Libya) - No decision was taken for date of the this group. - No representative from Algeria - FC Nouadhibou withdrew, so Club Africain and Al-Olympique qualified Zone 4 (East Region) - Representatives: Al-Tadamon (Lebanon), Al-Aqsa (Palestine), Al-Hussein (Jordan), Al-Wahda (Syria) - Matches were to be played in Syria in July 2002 - Al-Aqsa qualified directly to the finals due to difficulties to participate in the qualifying matches - Al-Tadamon withdrew, so Al-Wahda and Al-Hussein qualified Final Stage (Jeddah, Saudi Arabia)
